About AV Group UKBristol HQ · UK-wideFamily-owned · Independent

The team standingbetween your siteand everything that can go wrong.

AV Group UK is a family-owned specialist in security, event medical cover and cleaning, built by ex-police, prison and military professionals, run from Bristol and trusted on the ground from the South West to South Wales and nationwide.

Our story

Grown out of Avon Valley Security, sharpened for what clients actually need today.

AV Group UK grew out of Avon Valley Security. What started as a local security firm has evolved into a family-owned group covering three tightly-run pillars, Security, Medical Cover and Cleaning & Maintenance, under one accountable roof.

We help venues, event organisers, production companies, hotels, developers, facilities managers and public-sector clients who need one team they can pick up the phone to, at any hour, and know the job will be handled properly.

Our specialism is the messy middle: night-time economy, live events, film sets, hotels, medical response, key holding, out-of-hours cleans and short-notice cover. Work where standards, judgement and calm under pressure matter more than a slick pitch.

Bristol is our HQ. We deliver daily across the South West and South Wales, and travel nationally for the right brief. Every job, a single door supervisor or a 25–30 strong event team, is run by people who know your site.

Mission & standards

People-first. Standards-driven. No shortcuts on the doors that matter.

Every deployment, properly credentialed

SIA-licensed security. FREC 3/4 and paramedic-level medics. Highfield-awarded training. DBS-checked across every team we field.

Welfare of our own team

A Mental Health Champion on the ground, not on a poster. If the team is well looked after, the client gets a better shift, every time.

Insured, briefed, documented

Public liability, employers' liability and medical indemnity in place. RAMS and method statements issued on request as standard.

Our guarantee

If the phone rings, it gets answered. If we quote it, we deliver it. If something slips, a director owns it.

We are independently owned. There is no franchise layer, no absentee director and no call-centre between you and the person on your site. That is the guarantee, direct accountability from the top down.
